Mitsubishi XForce, Mitsubishi’s new compact SUV produced at the Mitsubishi Motor Krama Yudha Indonesia (MMKI) factory, Cikarang, West Java has finally arrived in Vietnam. As reported by the Autopro website, Wednesday (8/11/2023), the first batch of Mitsubishi XForce for the Vietnam market is already in Mitsubishi Vietnam’s warehouse.
“The first batch of Mitsubishi XForce for the Vietnam market will arrive on November 7 2023,” said Autopro.
Interestingly, there are some quite basic differences between the Mitsubishi XForce sent to Vietnam and the one sold in Indonesia. Some of the differences are actually quite striking.
Autopro suspects that three variants of the Mitsubishi XForce were sent to Vietnam. The first variant is the entry level variant which comes with smaller tire and rim sizes than the others.
The entry level variant is not equipped with fog lights, no parking sensors, the front and rear bumpers are made of plastic, and does not use the keyless entry feature. This variant comes in a white color option.
The second variant is actually equipped with parking sensors, fog lights, front and rear bumpers that match the car body, and keyless entry. Both cars also have 18 inch rims and tires installed. Available colors are red and yellow.
Well, the third variant is even more interesting because it looks very different from the Mitsubishi XForce in Indonesia. First, this car comes in a combination color, aka two-tone. Black on the roof and yellow on the bottom.
This two color combination is not available in Indonesia. This color combination actually makes the roof of the Mitsubishi XForce appear to be floating.
Well, another interesting part is the special box at the front of the grille of the third variant of the car. Autopro believes the special box is where the sensor is installed.
So the Vietnamese version of the Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) feature of the Mitsubishi XForce is much more complete than the one in Indonesia.
“The features include Emergency Braking Support, Blind Spot Warning, Adaptive Throttle, and Smart Headlight,” explained Autopro.
It’s just that of the three variants, the Vietnamese version of the Mitsubishi XForce still doesn’t have a sunroof. It is known that the absence of a sunroof is always a question mark for consumers who are curious about the Mitsubishi XForce.
It is planned that the Mitsubishi XForce will be launched in Vietnam in December 2023. At the same time, Mitsubishi in Indonesia has also started the delivery process to all consumers who have ordered.
