Harley-Davidson India has finally officially launched the Harley-Davidson X440 recently. This big motorbike is sold at a low price, starting from 229,000 Rupees or the equivalent of IDR 41.8 million.
This price is much cheaper than the Harley-Davidson X350 sold in China. Currently the Harley-Davidson X350 is sold at 33,388 Yuan or the equivalent of Rp. 69.8 million.
In fact, in terms of performance, the Harley-Davidson X440 is far more powerful. The big motorbike in collaboration with Hero Motor is equipped with a single cylinder engine with a capacity of 400 cc.
The machine has a power of 27 horsepower and a maximum torque of 38 Nm. “The Harley-Davidson X440 is a single-cylinder motorbike with ideal power. The shape of this motorbike is sturdy and offers good driving comfort. The Harley-Davidson X440 is presented for a new generation who want to get to know the Harley-Davidson family,” wrote the official Harley-Davidson India website.
Although quite cheap for a Harley-Davidson, this big motorbike is quite eye-catching. The reason is that the design of the big motorbike is still loyal to the Harley-Davidson standard.
According to HT Auto, the Harley-Davidson X440 has the same design as the Harley-Davidson XR1200, which has a larger engine. Besides that, the Harley-Davidson X440 is strong with a retro motorcycle appearance.
The compact dimensions make it easier for the motorbike to maneuver on city streets that are often jammed. In addition, the driving position that tends to be neutral or upright gives the driver a relaxed feeling.
It is known that this big motorbike only has a length of 2,168 mm. Much more compact than other Harley-Davidson. Its own weight only reaches 181 kilograms.
So it is very different from other Harley-Davidson which weighs an average of 300 kilograms to 500 kilograms. So the owner of the Harley-Davidson X440 will not feel pressured when riding the new motorbike.
