Wuling Motors finally officially announced the price of their newest electric car Wuling Binguo ev, this Friday (15/12/2023). This electric car comes in two variants, namely Premiun Range and Long Range.
Wuling Binguo ev Short Range is sold at IDR 358 Million and Wuling Binguo ev Long Range is priced at Rp408 million.
Arif Pramadana, Vice President of Wuling Motors Indonesia, said that the Wuling Binguo ev is proof of Wuling’s commitment to electrification taking place in Indonesia. He explained that currently the growth of electric cars in Indonesia is growing 120 percent compared to last year.
“The EV segment accounts for two percent of the market share of the total market. The era of mobility has arrived and people need efficient vehicles,” said Arif Pramadana.
Meanwhile, Dian Asmahani, Sales & Marketing Director of Wuling Motors, said that currently more than 3,000 people have ordered the Wuling Binguo ev.
“The public is increasingly welcoming electrification technology,” he said.
It is known that the Wuling Binguo ev comes with quite compact dimensions. The length is 3,950 mm, width 1,708 mm, height 1,580 mm, and wheelbase 2,560 mm.
On the legs, Binguo EV is equipped with 15 inch rims. As for tires, rely on size 185/60 R15. Meanwhile, for braking, the front and rear use disc brakes.
The front and rear lights have adopted LED technology. Likewise with the turn signals. The rearview mirror is also automatic, aka electric. On the interior, Binguo EV has also received soft touches on several details. Then, the seats have been wrapped in leather to give an elegant impression, including the steering wheel. On the dashboard, Binguo EV is equipped with a TFT touch screen head unit and a 10.25 inch instrument panel. The seat settings are electric, but specifically for the driver’s seat.
Binguo EV which uses LFP batteries comes in two variants based on mileage, namely 333 km for the Long Range and 410 km for the Premium Range. For the 333 km variant, the battery capacity is 31.9 kWh. Meanwhile, for the 410 km variant, the battery capacity is 37.9 kWh. Each variant is equipped with a 50 kW electric motor. The maximum torque that can be produced reaches 125 Nm.
Regarding safety features, there are two airbags in the front row. Then, the braking is also equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). The braking is also electric and equipped with Automatic Vehicle Hold.
Other advanced features embedded in the Binguo EV, such as Electronic Stability Control, camera and parking sensors, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Immobilizer, Smart Start System, Keyless Entry, Cruise Control, and others. “This car has a premium design and is ready to become an electric car icon,” concluded Dian Asmahani.
