Suzuki Iberica, Spain made a unique event to prove the power of their car’s payload. Up to 23 people can be transported at a time.
No half-hearted car that is used is the new Suzuki Vitara. In fact, the new Suzuki Vitara has dimensions of length, width and height, namely 4,175 mm, 1,775 mm and 1,610 mm.
This car is much more compact than its sibling sold in Indonesia, the Suzuki Grand Vitara. Currently, the Suzuki Grand Vitara has dimensions of length, width and height reaching 4,345 mm, 1,795 mm and 1,645 mm.
Uniquely, even though the car is more compact in dimensions, the Suzuki Vitara has just set a world record for being able to transport 23 people at once. The way six people enter in the front and the remaining 17 people enter the rear.
“The challenge is to find out how many people can get into the Suzuki Vitara. This car has a very extraordinary room even though from an exterior perspective it looks compact,” wrote the official Suzuki Iberica website.
It’s just that Suzuki Iberica admitted that there were some adjustments made in the car so that all passengers could enter. The rear seats of the Suzuki Vitara need to be folded first so that 17 people can fit in the back.
Interestingly folding the car seat on the back can flatten the floor of the car. So the 17 people who entered at the rear still felt comfortable when forced into it.
The participants were also specially selected. The average participants who took part were young people with moderate body size.
The record achieved by Suzuki also managed to beat the record achieved by a classic Volkswagen Beetle in 2010. At that time, this old car could carry 22 people at once.
