This is Why Rolls-Royce Give Mystical Names to Its Cars

Rolls-Royce is one of the luxury cars that everyone really loves. These cars have even become a symbol of the world’s super-rich.

Like other famous cars in the world, Rolls-Royce always gives unique names to their flagship cars. If Lamborghini often gives bulls names, Rolls-Royce is different because it likes to use mystical names.

For example, the Rolls-Royce Ghost is the backbone of sales for this British car company. As the name suggests, Ghost means ghost.

Of course, this name is in sharp contrast to Rolls-Royce’s premium and luxurious image. Another car that is no less shuddering is the Rolls-Royce Phantom.

This car, which is the most expensive variant of Rolls-Royce, has almost the same meaning as Ghost, namely ghost. The difference is that phantoms are ghosts that are not necessarily human spirits.

Another Rolls-Royce car name associated with mysticism is the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph. It is known that Seraph is the name of the angel Seraphim mentioned in the Torah and Old Testament Gospels.

So what makes Rolls-Royce like to use these mystical names? It turns out the goal is in line with those names.

“We want to evoke a sense of mystique in its owner and in the people who see it,” said Martin Fritsches, CEO of Rolls-Royce.

He even said that choosing this name would actually make Rolls-Royce different from other cars.

“So it’s easier to remember and timeless. Not only because of the design but also the name,” he explained again.

So, it’s clear why Rolls-Royce chose mystical names for their cars. So if it’s not mystical, it’s not Rolls-Royce.
