PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) and Pt Sun Star Motor opened a Mitsubishi new dealership in the Matraman area, Central Jakarta, Monday (19/6/2023). This dealer is Mitsubishi’s 169th dealer which has very complete facilities.
Alfa Wijaya, COO of Sun Star Motor, said that the dealership was built with an investment of IDR 70 billion. Apart from the land value, this investment is used to build facilities at the dealer owned by Sun Star Motor.
Available facilities that consumers can enjoy, namely a comfortable waiting room, children’s play area, and internet connection to support customer convenience when visiting dealers or waiting for their vehicles during periodic service processes. Mitsubishi’s latest flagship model line can also be found, such as the New Xpander, New Xpander Cross, Pajero Sport, Triton and L300. Consumers can even do a test drive when visiting to choose their dream new car.
Unlike other dealers, the Mitsubishi dealership from Sun Star Motor is also equipped with a cafe.
“In addition to the facilities that are standard for Mitsubishi, we also provide a cafe in this place,” explained Alfa Wijaya.
Meanwhile, for the development of the after-sales network, PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) said it would open five more new dealerships this year. MMKSI targets to have 174 dealers operating throughout Indonesia this year.
“For this year we are targeting 5 to 6 more dealers. So, it can be above 174 dealers, that’s what we are planning for this year,” said Director of Sales and Marketing Division of PT MMKSI Irwan Kuncoro.
Of the five new dealers, three dealers will be located in the Greater Jakarta area, namely in Cibinong, Cikarang and Cibubur. These three dealers will cooperate with PT SUN Star Motor.
Irwan Kuncoro said that Jakarta and its buffer zones still have a lot of potential, even though currently there are many players from other brands who have opened dealerships. According to him, the presence of dealers in the capital city area does not only focus on sales but also improves after-sales service.
“Talking at dealers is not only talking about sales networks but also after sales services, so if asked in general, in Jakarta we are also studying and planning to continue to add several dealer networks,” he said.
