Many world celebrities apparently have their first cars at simple and cheap prices. Just as their careers in the entertainment world need to start from scratch, these artists don’t necessarily own luxury cars.
Quoted by the Hola website, Thursday (13/10/2023), several of these celebrities have now become big-name artists. So many people don’t think that before they were incredibly famous, they actually had cars that were simple and cheap.
On average, the first car owned by the eight artists was in the price range of IDR 62.8 million to IDR 126.3 million. This price is much cheaper than the Toyota Avanza which is currently selling for IDR 235.1 million.
Then who are they?
1. Vin Diesel
Actor Vin Diesel is known for playing Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious film franchise. From the film, he is synonymous with expensive American sports cars. Who would have thought that his first car was actually a 1978 Chevrolet Monte Carlo which he bought for USD 4,000 or around Rp. 62.8 million.
2. Claire Danes
It turns out that actress Claire Danes, long before she was famous, was very comfortable with the Chevrolet Blazer SUV. He owned the car he bought for USD 5,251 or around Rp. 82.5 million for quite a long time.
3. Jerry Seinfeld
Currently presenter Jerry Seinfeld is known as a big car collector because he has many interesting cars. Who would have thought that his first car was actually a VW Beetle or Beetle made in 1977. He bought it for USD 5,683 or around Rp. 88.9 million.
4. Mila Kunis
The beautiful actress Mila Kunis apparently doesn’t attach much importance to luxury cars. Until the first car he owned was a Ford Explorer which cost USD 5,738 or Rp. 89.8 million.
5. James May
Automotive show presenter James May loves special cars. His first car was a first generation Vauxhall Cavalier which cost USD 6,545 or the same as IDR 102.4 million.
6. Daniel Craig
Have you ever imagined James Bond riding in a small car? This happened to Daniel Craig, who plays James Bond, whose first car was a Nissan Cherry which he bought for USD 7,290 or around Rp. 114.1 million.
7. Rowan Atkinson
Rowan Atkinson doesn’t just like cars. He also likes racing by car. His car collection is also very large. However, it all started with the Morris Minor car, which costs only USD 7,299 or Rp. 114.2 million.
8. Tom Cruise
