The Latest Hyundai Creta Model Arrives in Indonesia with No Price Change

Hyundai Indonesia has officially launched the latest model of the Hyundai Creta, the Creta N Line. This compact SUV, eagerly awaited since its introduction in India, is now available with significant updates, including design improvements, enhanced engine performance, and a variety of advanced features. Despite these upgrades, Hyundai has kept the price of the standard Creta variant the same as the previous model.

The Hyundai Creta N Line presents a sportier look, with several updates to its exterior design. One of the most noticeable changes is the sleeker honeycomb grille, separate headlights, and a smaller Hyundai logo positioned lower on the front. Additionally, the front bumper now features hidden red accents, while red accents are also found on the side skirts and their extensions at the rear bumper. New 18-inch wheels, red brake calipers, and twin exhaust pipes further enhance the dynamic and sporty feel of the vehicle.

The interior of the Creta N Line retains the standard layout of the Creta but adds red accents on the dashboard and steering wheel to emphasize the sporty atmosphere. This design is tailored to appeal to consumers looking for a vehicle with a strong character and a more modern appearance.

In terms of performance, the Creta N Line is powered by a 1.5-liter T-GDi turbocharged engine that produces 157 hp at 5,500 rpm and 253 Nm of torque from 1,500 to 3,500 rpm. These upgrades provide higher performance, delivering a more responsive acceleration and a more thrilling driving experience.

Interestingly, despite the various upgrades, the price for the standard New Creta remains unchanged, starting at IDR 299.7 million, with no price increase compared to the previous generation. This strategy by Hyundai aims to maintain the model’s appeal in the Indonesian market. On the other hand, the Creta N Line, which offers higher features and performance, is priced starting at IDR 460.5 million.

Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, Chief Operating Officer of PT HMID, revealed that the Creta has sold over 30,000 units in Indonesia, making it one of the best-selling models in its class. This achievement reflects Hyundai’s success in meeting the needs of Indonesian consumers with both competitive pricing and quality.

“Creta has sold over 30,000 units in Indonesia, making it the best-selling model in its class. Therefore, the Creta is not only sold domestically but also internationally due to its quality, and both the New Creta and Creta N Line feature several excellent selling points,” said Frans.

With the launch of the Hyundai Creta N Line, which brings design and performance updates, Hyundai strengthens its position in the Indonesian compact SUV market. Meanwhile, the standard Creta variant, which maintains the same price, remains an attractive option for consumers looking for a well-equipped SUV at a competitive price.
