EMove, an application made by the Adhya Group, provides an interesting opportunity for people who are curious about trying an electric car but don’t want to buy one. They can rent electric cars by the hour.
Ricky Wijaya, CEO of Adhya Group, at the launch of the EMove application, Tuesday (10/10/2023) said that currently the population of electric cars continues to increase over time. It’s just that most people use electric cars as their second or third car.
On the other hand, people who do not have more purchasing power are very curious about the advantages of electric cars. From there, according to Ricky Wijaya, the EMove application was introduced.
This application provides the opportunity for people to try electric cars directly by renting them. “EMove is a technology-based electric car rental application, because the unit we use is connected to our server,” he said.
Ricky also hopes that the presence of his application can encourage the adoption of stun vehicles in Indonesia. So it is in line with President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) mission.
“In the first phase, our target areas were Jakarta, Bandung and Bali first,” he added.
For your information, EMove develops software that can be installed in vehicles so that it connects to a server and can be accessed using an application.
So that with applications on personal smart devices, people can rent and use electric vehicles.
Meanwhile, you don’t need to worry about the rental price, because it is quite affordable. Only IDR 40,000 per hour.
Then there are also a number of electric car rental schemes available. Starting from hourly, daily, even monthly and yearly for interested companies.
So those interested just need to adjust it to their needs. Moreover, they will prepare a number of electric cars, starting from the Wuling Air EV, Hyundai Ioniq to Neta.
However, currently only Wuling Air EV can be used or rented. As a note, the rental costs for each vehicle above will vary depending on the brand chosen.
On the other hand, Kevin, as Founder of Casion, said that there are various potential collaborations that can be carried out with EMove.
Among other things, in collaboration with SPKLU (Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station), EMove users are given free charging for one hour.
He also said that people who own electric vehicles can also rent them out via the EMove platform. The reason is that currently only eight electric cars are available.
“The future target for EMove units and areas as a whole is 500 units by 2025, starting from cars, motorbikes and electric bicycles as well as SKPLU,” Kevin concluded his words.
