PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) officially launched the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX. The launch was carried out at the Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS+) 2023, at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, Wednesday (25/10/2023).

This IMOS event is an important moment for Suzuki because apart from showcasing its superior product lines, Suzuki also launched its newest products which visitors can order.

“Suzuki introduces the Burgman Street 125 EX as the newest product line of choice for Suzuki motorbikes which comes with a new, more elegant style and satisfying driving performance in its class,” said Shigemori Keisuke, General Manager Sales & Marketing 2W PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales, in his remarks at ICE BSD.

Burgman Street 125EX is a modern and full-featured scooter to support daily mobility in style. Equipped with Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha (SEP-a) engine technology, this motorbike is Suzuki’s first product to be equipped with SEP-a technology in Indonesia.

With this technology, the Burgman Street 125 EX has an Engine Auto Stop-Start (EASS) feature which helps reduce fuel consumption while making engine operation quieter.

Apart from that, this motorbike also has a Silent Start System which makes the Burgman Street 125 EX smoother and quieter when started. This scooter is also equipped with a large luggage capacity, luxurious and comfortable seating, USB charging port, LED headlight and rearlight, and a full-digital instrument panel.

In terms of performance, the Suzuki Brugman Street 125 EX uses the same engine as the Avenis and Address 125, namely the Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha, 1 cylinder SOHC 2 valves with a capacity of 124 cc, air-cooled. This machine can produce 8.48 hp of power at 6,500 rpm and peak torque of 10 N at 5,500 rpm. This power is channeled to the rear wheels via a centrifugal CVT transmission.

Specially, Suzuki claims that the Brugman Street 125 EX is very fuel efficient, with a calculation of 1 liter for 52.6 kilometers. This motorbike is also equipped with an Engine Auto Stop Start system which automatically turns off the engine when stopped.

Regarding price, PT SIS markets the Suzuki Burgman 125 EX at a price of IDR 24.7 million, with status on the road (OTR) Jakarta. This price is around IDR 7 million cheaper compared to what is sold in Malaysia.
