The observation method used by Gridserve is quite unique. First, they observed which electric cars were most sought after in cyberspace.
From this method, it is known that the Tesla Model 3 is the electric car most frequently searched for on the internet. Total searches reached 19,989/872 times. After that is the KIA EV6 with a total of 15,815,185 searches. The third position is held by the Tesla Model Y with total searches in cyberspace reaching 13,908,451 times.
From there, it can be seen that Tesla has created the most curiosity, causing many people to search on the internet. It’s just that the second method used by Gridserve actually produces different facts.
The second method is for Gridserve to observe the most frequently searched electric cars in 47 countries. The result turns out that Tesla is not the car most people want to own.
The reason is that each country apparently has different preferences for electric cars. Likewise with the availability of Tesla in that country. This makes Tesla not the main choice.
In fact, there are several countries where people are not interested in electric cars. For example, Iran only produces 10 searches for electric cars on the internet.
This is different from India, which is looking more for electric cars made by the Tata Nexon. Likewise with Indonesia, it turns out that people are more curious about the Wuling Air EV, which is produced in Indonesia, than Tesla.
Likewise, countries in the Balkan region are more interested in their electric car, the Rimac Nevera. This super electric car is much more popular in the Balkans than Tesla.
So, from observations in 47 countries, it turns out that there is one electric car that stands out the most according to Gridserve. The electric car is actually made in Japan.
“From the 47 countries observed, it turns out that the electric car most sought after and wanted to own is the Lexus RZ,” concluded Gridserve.
