Having very rich parents will certainly be very enjoyable for their children. But that doesn’t seem to be the case for Lisa Brennan-Jobs, the daughter of Apple founder Steve Jobs.
Lisa is a living witness to how Steve Jobs really liked changing cars every six months. This habit was carried out when Steve Jobs bought a Porsche 911.
This habit even continued after Steve Jobs moved to another brand, namely Mercedes-Benz. Lisa couldn’t own those cars at all.
In Lisa’s biography entitled Small Fry, it is revealed that Steve Jobs did not want the cars to be given free to his children.
“I once asked him if I could have it if he wanted to buy a new car,” explained Lisa.
“No, you won’t get anything,” said Lisa, imitating Steve Jobs’ answer.
What’s even sadder is that Steve Jobs actually preferred to give cars he didn’t use to Apple employees. Especially Apple employees who have succeeded in selling their products in large quantities.
One of them is Craig Elliot who got a free Porsche from Steve Jobs.
“At that time I was 24 years old. Apple called me to come to dinner with Steve Jobs. It turned out that after that Steve Jobs gave me the keys to a Porsche,” recalled Craig Elliot.
