The Seres E1 EV officially launch by DFSK Seres compact electric car for the first time at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023, at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, on August 10-20.
The presence of Seres E1 is a sign of PT Sokonindo Automobile’s commitment to building the national automotive industry, especially the development of the electric vehicle ecosystem. Seres E1 is a compact sized vehicle with pure electric energy to support environmentally friendly urban mobility.
“We present Seres E1 which is intended as a mobility solution in cities that require agile, reliable and environmentally friendly vehicles. With the features offered, we are sure that Seres E1 will receive a positive response from the people of Indonesia,” said COO of PT Sokonindo Automobile, Franz Wang, at GIIAS 2023, on Thursday (10/8/2023).
On this occasion, PT. Sokonindo Automobile announced the official price for the Seres E1. This is because, since its introduction at the PEVS (Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show) 2023, last May, the manufacturer has not yet provided an official price for this compact electric car.
Seres E1 is marketed in 2 variants in Indonesia, namely Type B and Type L. As for the price, Type B costs IDR 189 million, and Type L sells for IDR 219 million, with Jakarta on the road (OTR) status.
Seres E1 is equipped with a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery that can cover a maximum distance of 220 km. The performance offered by the Seres E1 is also quite large with a maximum torque of 100 Nm.
A number of security features are available on the Seres E1, starting from the Anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Hold Control, parking camera, cruise control and driving modes.
Especially for the Seres E1 Type L, there is also Electronic Stability Control and Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold.
