Second Generation Ducati Scrambler Officially Launched, More Asian Friendly

Ducati Indonesia officially launched the second generation of the Ducati Scrambler, Tuesday (29/8/2023) tonight. In total there are three variants launched to the Indonesian public, namely Icon, Night Shift and Full Throttle.

Dito Mulyawadi, Director of After Sales for Ducati Indonesia, said that the Italian motorbike is now much friendlier for Asian people, especially Indonesia. Because the sitting position of the big motorbike now only reaches 795 millimeters.

“It can even be set again to lower up to 780 millimeters. So it’s very easy to drive,” said Dito Mulyawadi.

In terms of weight, the second generation Ducati Scrambler is also much lighter than the first generation. According to Dito Mulyawadi, his weight is now four kilograms lighter. It is known that the gross weight of the second generation Ducati Scrambler only reached 170 kilograms.

He said that the Ducati Scrambler had actually greeted the Indonesian people since 2015. At that time, the Ducati Scrambler had become the backbone of Ducati sales in Indonesia.

It’s just that over the years the composition of Ducati Indonesia’s sales has changed. Now the sales of Ducati Indonesia are more dominated by Ducati sport bikes such as the Ducati Panigale.

“We are targeting Ducati sales this year to be 175 units which are a combination of Ducati and Scrambler,” said Dito Mulyawadi.

For the price, Dito Mulyawadi said that the price for the Ducati Scrambler was sold from IDR 377 million to IDR 410 million off the road. “We will start sending in October and there is no quota,” said Dito Mulyawadi.
