Indonesia Rally Racer Rifat Sungkar has a mysterious project this year. The flagship Mitsubishi Xpander AP4 will be torn apart until it has 600 horsepower.
The Mitsubishi Xpander AP4 is currently a blessing in itself for the husband of actress Sissy Priscillia. Mitsubishi’s flagship Low MPV car has given many prestigious titles to Rifat Sungkar, such as in 2021 he won 1st place in the Sprint Rally.
This achievement then continued in 2022 where Rifat Sungkar and Mitsubishi Xpander AP4 won national Rally Indonesia. “What else do you want in 2023, there must be something even more interesting. This is even crazier,” said Rifat Sungkar through his Rifato YouTube channel.
In uploading the video, Rifat Sungkar shows the condition of the Mitsubishi Xpander AP4 which has been ransacked. Leaving only the car body and the four tires.
Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian Motors Association (IMI) said that the first time he made the Mitsubishi Xpander AP4, a technological leap was made. The Mitsubishi Xpander, which was originally equipped with a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1,500 cc, was replaced with a 1,600 cc turbo engine with a four-wheel drive system.
This change made the engine which was originally 104 horsepower changed to 300 horsepower. Now for this year’s project the Mitsubishi Xpander AP4 will really be far more brutal in strength.
“If the Xpander AP4 has 300 horsepower, this one can be said to have nearly double the power,” said the man who was born on October 22, 1978.
That much power, according to him, was due to a change in the engine. The engine which was originally 1,600 cc was replaced with a large 6,100 cc engine. The number of cylinders is far more so that such power can be generated.
Unfortunately Rifat Sungkar was reluctant to reveal what the mysterious Xpander AP4 project would be used for. It’s just that many followers of Rifato’s YouTube channel suspect that the Mitsubishi Xpander AP4 car will be used for drifting or speed offroad.
“Drifting doesn’t seem like it’s because he said this car still has seats for navigators,” said a follower of Rifato’s YouTube channel.
It is very likely that Rifat Sungkar is preparing the car to replace his other car which is no longer in use, namely Mr Fox. The tubular car is equipped with a very large engine, namely 7,200 cc.
