Chery already active in the Indonesian automotive market for a year. Their work began with the formation of PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) in November 2022.
Now even a year later, Chery has managed to achieve several important records. In an official statement received by MNC Portal Indonesia, last Wednesday (11/15/2023), based on GAIKINDO data, Chery claims to have succeeded in entering the list of the top 10 best-selling car sellers in Indonesia.
In terms of sales, Chery also managed to achieve impressive records. Over the past year, as of October 2023, Chery has succeeded in selling 3,418 units of cars assembled in Bekasi, West Java.
Qu Jizong, Executive Vice President of PT CSi, said that over the past year Chery has been trying to build a strong foundation. They did this in order to be able to contribute to automotive development in Indonesia in the long term.
“This strong foundation is also the basis for continuing with Indonesian consumers to move towards the vision of sustainable mobility,” said Qu Jizong.
Chery further said that the cars they make are accepted by the public thanks to the excellent after sales service. At that time they already had 48 dealer networks in various regions in Indonesia.
They also promised to continue to provide the best models for Indonesian society.
“We will continue to strive to provide the best driving experience for customers, with innovation and dedication as our main guides,” he concluded.
