New Ford Everest Titanium Coming Soon in Indonesia, The Rivals Are No Longer Pajero and Fortuner

Ford Everest Titanium is planned to launch in Indonesia in the near future. The rivals are not the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and the Toyota Fortuner. How come?

The presence of the new Ford Everest Titanium is known based on an invitation sent to the editor of MNC Portal Indonesia recently. The seven-seat passenger SUV from Ford is planned to be launched together with the Ford Ranger Raptor pickup.

Indeed, Ford Everest is in the same caste as the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Toyota Fortuner. The three cars are both ladder frame SUVs and both have seven passenger seats.

It’s just that based on the specifications and information available in Thailand, the Ford Everest does have many things that the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Toyota Fortuner don’t seem to have.

It is known that the new Ford Everest was launched in Thailand in March 2023. One of the most prominent is the dimensions of the Ford Everest, which are much larger than before.

This time the size of the Ford Everest is 4,914 mm long, 1,923 mm wide and 1,842 mm high. Very large when compared to the Toyota Fortuner which is 4,795 mm long, 1,855 mm wide and 1,835 mm high. Likewise with the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport which has dimensions of 4,825 mm in length, 1,815 mm in width and 1,835 mm in height.

The only car that can match the dimensions of the new Ford Everest is the South Korean SUV, the Hyundai Palisade. The seven-seat SUV from the country of ginseng has a length of 4,995 mm, a width of 1,975 mm and a height of 1,750 mm.

So it’s only natural that information spreads that the new Ford Everest is in a better position to compete with the Hyundai Palisade. Moreover, in terms of completeness, the Ford Everest seems worth fighting with the Hyundai Palisade.

This SUV from an automotive company from the United States is equipped with a 12-inch touch screen. This screen size is equivalent to the 12-inch TFT screen in the Hyundai Palisade. Of course, this giant screen is not found in the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

Another similarity between the new Ford Everest and the Hyundai Palisade is the panoramic monroof. Both of these large SUVs have the same features. it was precisely not owned by two samurai from Japan, the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

It’s just that there is a big difference between the Ford Everest and the Hyundai Palisade. Ford Everest still uses a ladder frame chassis. Unlike the Hyundai Palisade with a monocoque chassis.

The two chassis do have their respective advantages. So are the drawbacks. What is certain this time is that the Hyundai Palisade is not playing alone in the Indonesian automotive market because there is a fairly strong opponent made in America.
