Neta V Will be Assembled in Indonesia in the Second Quarter of 2024

Indonesia is increasingly becoming a tempting market for Chinese electric car manufacturers. They are now busy producing and assembling electric cars for sale in Indonesia.

Most recently, the Neta V electric car from PT Neta Auto Indonesia will begin to be assembled in Indonesia in 2024. Precisely in the second quarter of the Wood Dragon’s year.

This certainty came after PT Neta Auto Indonesia officially signed a joint agreement with an automotive assembly company based in Bekasi, West Java, namely PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM). The signing was carried out at the PT HIM manufacturing factory in the Pondok Ungu area, Bekasi, West Java.

Zhang Yong, Co-founder and CEO of NETA Auto, said he was happy and grateful for the collaboration. He said Indonesia is not only an important market for NETA, but also has great potential in the development of electric cars at the global level.

“We are grateful that NETA was received so positively by the Indonesian people, and we feel very honored to be able to contribute to supporting the transition towards sustainable mobility in Indonesia. Signing the agreement with PT HIM is our next seriousness in developing high-technology electric cars that are assembled locally for meet the needs of consumers in the country,” he explained.

The local assembly process for NETA products at PT HIM will be implemented in completely knocked down (CKD) form and is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2024. The first model to be assembled locally is the NETA V which has received a positive response and managed to record more than 250 SPK since its debut. This step is one of NETA’s strategies to support domestic production, provide electric cars that suit the needs of the Indonesian people, and strengthen NETA’s position as an electric car distributor company.

Furthermore, NETA also continues to develop its dealer network to strengthen after-sales services and provide the best service to consumers in various regions of Indonesia. By the end of 2023, NETA will present up to 10 3S dealers to reach more consumers.
