The Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) will be held again by the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI), on 25-29 October 2023. This event is called IMOS+ which carries a number of new missions.
MOS+ 2023 will also be held at Hall 10 ICE BSD, Tangerang, with an exhibition area twice as large as the previous IMOS event. Therefore, IMOS+ can bring more innovation from the Indonesian motorbike industry.
AISI General Chair Johannes Loman said the Indonesian motorbike industry continues to develop after the Covid-19 pandemic. It is hoped that IMOS+ 2023 will be one of the driving factors in realizing the motorbike sales target in the domestic market.
“We want IMOS+ to be an educational platform that reaches consumers directly. We, AISI Members, also want to achieve total sales of 5.8-6 million units. “But, looking at the trend until August 2023, it could be close to 6.1-6.2 million units,” said Loman at the IMOS+ 2023 press conference, in South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/10/2023).
At the IMOS + 2023 event, AISI is also encouraging its members to accelerate the presence of electricity-based environmentally friendly technology. For this reason, there are more and more electric motorbike brands that will appear at this exhibition.
“The implementation of IMOS, which will become an annual agenda, is expected to continue to stimulate the growth of the motorbike industry in Indonesia. “What’s even more special this year is that we welcome the presence of many new brands of electric motorbikes,” said Loman.
Sigit Kumala, Head of Commercial Affairs at AISI and Head of Organizers of the IMOS+ 2023 Exhibition, said that with an increasingly wider exhibition area and more and more diverse participants, AISI will prepare various programs for visitors.
“IMOS+ will present a more complete variety of participants from various lines of the motorbike industry, from Internal Combustion Engine motorbike products, electric-based motorbikes, to various brands from supporting industries. “Several new motorbike brands will even be present at IMOS this year,” said Sigit.
IMOS+ 2023 will present participants from AISI members, such as Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. The big players in the two-wheeled automotive industry will bring various model lines and the latest concepts.
Apart from that, IMOS+ 2023 will also feature several other motorbike brands, such as ALVA, Charged EV, Dhelvic, Gova EV, lon Mobility, Kool EV, Polytron, Royal Enfield, Savart EV, Scomadi, Selis, and U-Winfly.
Not to forget, various supporting industries such as tires, spare parts, engine lubricants, accessories such as helmets and apparel, as well as various other supporting driving equipment also enlivened this national exhibition specifically for two wheels.
