MG Cyberster electric sports car will travel across continents a distance of tens of thousands of kilometers. The special car will travel to various countries in the world, including Indonesia.
The journey entitled MG Charging into the Future itself has started on September 12 2023. The electric sports car is driven by two British adventurers who are also conjoined twins, Ross Turner and Hugo Turner.
MG stated that the journey, via their official website, Thursday (5/10/2023) will take seven months. The trip is planned to end in Shanghai, China in 2024. At that location, MG has the MG Design Studio, which is a special place for MG Cyberster.
At that location the MG Cyberster was designed and finally made with a very attractive design. So, Indonesian citizens who are curious about the MG electric sports car should be patient.
This is because travel in Southeast Asia and other countries on the Asian continent will be carried out in 2024.
“The two twin brothers will reunite with the MG Cyberster in the new year. They will go on another adventure to Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia. The trip will ending in Shanghai,” wrote the official MG Charging into the Future website.
Meanwhile, in an official statement, MG Motor Indonesia confirmed MG Cyberster adventure. The trip was actually carried out to demonstrate the reliability, efficiency and comfort of the MG Cyberster. Apart from that, it is also to break the myth of “range anxiety” which is often associated with the capabilities of electric cars.
“Through the MG Cyberster roadshow entitled Charging into the Future, we want the world to see not only technological and design innovation, but also how MG is the answer to the vehicle of the future,” said Arief Syarifudin, Marketing & PR Director of MG Motor Indonesia.
According to him, the MG Cyberster is not just an electric sports car. The car is a symbol of MG’s vision of how electric cars should be designed, namely a combination of classic MG aesthetics with the latest technological innovations.
According to him, the electric sports car has a range of up to 800 kilometers. At the same time, the MG Cyberster is also able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in less than three seconds.
