Mitsubishi Vietnam finally officially launched the Mitsubishi XForce, Thursday (11/1/2024). The new compact SUV from Mitsubishi turns out to have some quite interesting differences when compared to the Indonesian version.
In fact, the Mitsubishi XForce sold in Vietnam is made by the Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia (MMKI) factory in Cikarang, West Java, Indonesia. So what are the differences?
First, Mitsubishi Vietnam presents four variants of the Mitsubishi XForce. The four are GLX, Exceed, Premium and Ultimate. In Indonesia, the Mitsubishi XForce comes in two variants, namely Exceed and Ultimate.
The price of the Mitsubishi XForce GLX is sold at 620 million Dong or the equivalent of IDR 394.07 million. The Mitsubishi XForce Exceed is priced at 660 million Dong or the same as IDR 419.4 million. Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi XForce Premium is priced at 699 million Dong or around Rp. 444.28 million.
Unfortunately, Mitsubishi Vietnam did not immediately announce the price of the Mitsubishi XForce Ultimate. Price announcements will be announced later specifically for the highest variant of the Mitsubishi XForce.
This price is actually more expensive than the price of the Mitsuubishi XForce in Indonesia. The Mitsubishi XForce Exceed in Indonesia is sold for IDR 379.9 million. Likewise, the highest variant of the Mitsubishi XForce Ultimate is priced at IDR 412.9 million.
“Each price provides several different features,” wrote Autopro, Friday (12/1/2023).
It’s just that there are several things that are quite different about why the Mitsubishi XForce in Vietnam is more expensive apart from the complete import scheme. The comparison is the Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) feature which is quite prominent.
Mitsubishi XForce in Vietnam equipped with five features ADAS. They are Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).
Meanwhile, some of the ADAS features on the Mitsubishi XForce Ultimate in Indonesia are only BSW and RCTA. Apart from that, the Cruise Control of the Mitsubishi XForce in Indonesia is also still conventional. Not yet adaptive so it can adjust to the speed of the vehicle in front.
The existence of this more complete ADAS can be seen from the front of the Mitsubishi XForce Ultimate. In the grille of the car there is a black box which is thought to function as a radar. The presence of this radar means that the Mitsubishi XForce Ultimate in Vietnam has more complete ADAS features.
