Lamborghini Participates in the Geneva Motor Show Exhibition

Lamborghini has finally decided to return to the 2023 Geneva Motor Show car exhibition, which this time will be held in Doha, Qatar. This decision was quite surprising because the car company with the symbol of the raging bull has not taken part in the Geneva Motor Show since 2020.

The Geneva Motor Show 2023 this time is indeed quite unique. The auto show, which is usually held in Switzerland, will run for 10 days in Doha, Qatar.

This happened because of the collaboration between the Geneva Motor Show and the Qatar Ministry of Tourism. At that time, Qatar’s Ministry of Tourism disbursed enormous funds so that the car show could be moved from Geneva to Doha just one time.

The unique thing is that this move has caught the attention of many luxury car manufacturers, considering that the Arab region is a huge market potential. Many wealthy people in the Arabian peninsula want new luxury cars.

This was also agreed by Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann. “This is the first time an exhibition has taken place outside of Europe. We see that the Middle East market is a very important place,” said Stephan Winkelmann.

Lamborghini’s involvement in the auto show in Doha is also quite special. Because Lamborghini is no longer interested in participating in major automotive exhibitions in the world.

This was done because it was not very effective in marketing the cars they made. Lamborghini is actually more focused on holding its own events so that consumers who come are truly pampered and interested in the cars produced in Sant Agata, Bologna, Italy.

No wonder Lamborghini’s involvement in the 2023 Geneva Motor Show which was held in Doha, Qatar is only for this year. “We’ll see what this exhibition will be in the future and how it will be decided. We have never been involved in a long collaboration in an exhibition because at this time everything is changing rapidly,” said Stephan Winkelmann.

It is known that the 2023 Geneva Motor Show will be held on October 5-14 2023. As many as 30 car manufacturers will be present to enliven the world-class automotive exhibition which will be held on the Arabian peninsula. The automotive exhibition will also be even more lively because it is accompanied by the 2023 Formula 1 car race which will be held at the same location on 6-8 October 2023.
