Several famous actors are getting closer to the world of Formula 1. Actor Brad Pitt is currently busy making films about Formula 1 car racing.
Now, it’s Keanu Reeves’ turn involved in a bit of the same project. The Drive website stated that Monday (28/8/2023), the actor who was born on September 2, 1964 will be the narrator in a Formula 1 documentary entitled Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story.
As the name implies, this documentary film tells the story of the progress of the Formula 1 Brawn GP racing team, which was founded by a senior Formula 1 figure, Ross Brawn. Brawn GP’s progress was phenomenal because the team was founded in a short time and immediately became the winner of the 2009 Formula 1 season.
“Incredibly Ross Brawn built the team only by buying the previous racing team with just 1 Euro,” said Drive.
However, the team’s journey was full of dynamics. Starting from the difficulty of making a team to desperately trying to stay competitive in Formula 1 car races.
That’s what made Disney+ interested in making the documentary. Now the task of presenting the documentary was handed over to Keanu Reeves.
The actor, who is famous for the films The Matrix and John Wick, will invite the audience to review the triumph of the Formula 1 Brawn GP racing team, which is difficult to repeat.
Later in the documentary, Keanu Reeves will meet various important figures in front of and behind the scenes of the Brawn GP team. Including the two drivers who managed to lead Brawn GP to become world champions namely Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.
He will also meet directly with Ross Brawn whose last position was Managing Director of Motorsport Formula 1. Unfortunately, Disney+ has yet to provide official information regarding the screening schedule for the documentary.
They just released teaser images of the documentary showing Keanu Reeves meeting Jenson Button and Ross Brawn. He also looked enthusiastic when he saw Brawn GP’s phenomenal Formula 1 racing car.
