PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) launched the Hyundai Stargazer X at the GIIAS 2023 event. This car, which received a different touch on the exterior and interior, managed to receive a positive response from Indonesian consumers.
HMID Head of Marketing Department Astrid Ariani Wijana said that the Hyundai Stargazer X sold 500 units during GIIAS 2023. This number contributed one third of their achievements during the 11 days of participating in the national exhibition.
“So yesterday’s total was more than 1,600 units, combined, and indeed there were still more Stargazers. The Stargazer X is around one-third, over 500 units,” said Astrid in Solo, Central Java, Monday (28/8/2023).
Of the total sales of the Hyundai Stargazer X, Astrid revealed that the highest variant was the best-selling. At least, the Prime type accounts for 98 percent of the total sales of Stargazer X at GIIAS 2023.
“So far, it can be said that the highest is Prime, which is acquired by consumers. As for color, so far Gravity Gold Matte has the most. So maybe it’s because this is a new color, so you can say there are a lot of people who are the target,” he said.
Interestingly, the Hyundai Stargazer X offers a captain seat configuration option or separate seats in the second row. This is the only model in the 7-seater Low SUV class that offers this.
Astrid said this was Hyundai’s commitment, which has a mission to change the market game. This configuration is also offered to bring consumers to experience comfortable premium mobility.
“For consumers in this type of cross segment, they want to know how to have a vehicle that is still sporty and provides driving that is more agile, dynamic, but doesn’t want to give up comfort and still wants luxury and comfort. So, that’s why what’s taken mostly is currently the trend is on the captain seat,” said Astrid.
Just for information, the Hyundai Stargazer X is offered in two variants, namely Style and Prime. Regarding the price, the Style type costs IDR 325.6 million, and the Prime type sells for IDR 336.2 million, with Jakarta on the road (OTR) status.
