Interior of Electric Hyundai Creta Revealed, Launch Date Not Announced

The interior of the electric Hyundai Creta has been revealed through a photo uploaded by the site Pilotonwheels. In the photo, the interior of the electric Hyundai Creta looks far more modern compared to the conventional engine version of the Hyundai Creta.

According to Autopro, Tuesday (May 21, 2024), the electric Hyundai Creta has already undergone road testing. Several times, the electric car made in South Korea was seen on various roads with a camouflaged body.

However, this is the first time the interior of the electric SUV has been seen. The circulating photo shows the car’s dashboard in a rectangular digital form. The dashboard is connected to a large touch screen.

“Another striking feature is the gear lever which has been moved to the steering column,” explains Autopro.

This change is certainly very interesting because it suggests that the electric Hyundai Creta will offer a more spacious interior. At least, this aligns with the exterior size, which also looks larger compared to the conventional version of the Hyundai Creta.

In terms of exterior design, the electric Hyundai Creta does indeed have some differences compared to the gasoline version. Previous test appearances showed that the car does not have a radiator and exhaust pipes as usual.

The car’s chassis is lower because more space needs to be provided for the battery. This will increase the accommodation side of the electric Hyundai Creta compared to the gasoline version.

The presence of the electric Hyundai Creta is certainly very interesting. Unfortunately, according to Autopro, the green car is expected to be launched no earlier than the end of 2025.

By that time, the Hyundai Creta will have been on the automotive market for six years. So, it is quite reasonable that Hyundai is finally introducing the electric version of the Hyundai Creta.

As for the estimated price, the electric Hyundai Creta is likely to be sold at around Rp 478 million. In Indonesia, the gasoline version of the Hyundai Creta is currently sold in the price range of Rp 297.3 million to Rp 421.8 million.
