The long wait is finally over, PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) has finally brought the five-door version of the Suzuki Jimny or Suzuki Jimny 5-Door.
This compact SUV was immediately presented at the 2024 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) which was held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.
For the Indonesian market, Suzuki presents four variants of the five-door Suzuki Jimny with differences in transmission and color configuration. The four variants are the Suzuki Jimny 5 Door (AT) which is sold at IDR 475,600,000, the Suzuki Jimny 5 Door (AT-Dual Tone) with a tag of IDR 478,600,000, the Suzuki Jimny the Suzuki Jimny 5 Door (MT) at a price of IDR 462,000,000, and
Suzuki Jimny 5 Door (MT-Dual Tone) released at IDR 465,000,000
This price is much more expensive than the original price in India. In the land of curry, the five-door Suzuki Jimny is sold in the price range of IDR 229.4 million to IDR 271 million.
This is natural because PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales imported the entire five-door Suzuki Jimny directly from India.
Even though it is more expensive, Suzuki’s official statement states that the five-door Suzuki Jimny offers many advantages. First, of course, the dimensions are longer than the three-door Suzuki Jimny which was first present in Indonesia.
It is known that the dimensions of the Suzuki Jimny 5-door are 3,965 mm long and a wheelbase of 2,590 mm, providing spacious space for passengers and luggage. Apart from that, it also provides a relaxed driving feel but still maintains its capabilities as a professional off-road car.
The addition of doors provides easy access for rear passengers to get in and out of the car. The trunk capacity of 211 liters is also quite capable of carrying the necessary adventure supplies.
The offroad design which is packaged in the features and equipment of this vehicle also provides added value for its users, such as the Chrome Front Grille, Rear View Camera, and 4 Spots Parking Sensor.
In terms of safety, this vehicle is equipped with 6 airbags to provide protection to the driver and passengers when undesirable conditions occur. Meanwhile, to provide enjoyable entertainment, a 9 inch touchscreen head unit with smartphone connections is equipped with complete services.
