Member of the House of Representatives from the Nasdem Party, Ahmad Sahroni recently caused a commotion because he successfully modified an old Yamaha RX King to become a Yamaha RX King Iron Man. The legendary two-stroke motorbike from Yamaha has been successfully transformed into a standout thanks to a very striking modification.
Ahmad Sahroni actually uploaded the condition of the Yamaha RX King motorbike in standard conditions. At that time he uploaded a photo of himself sitting on the motorbike and jokingly wanted to sell it.
“For sale Km zero, those who are interested send offers through this post,” wrote Ahmad Sahroni, in an Instagram post uploaded on Friday (24/2/2023).
A few months later, it turns out that the standard motorbike has changed its form. Now, to change the motorbike, Ahmad Sahroni turned out to have entrusted all the work to a well-known modification workshop in the Semarang area, Central Java, namely Pap N Mam Modified.
Even the modification workshop was the one who bought the modified motorbike material from the start. This can be seen from the Central Java license plate on the standard Yamaha RX King.
“Father asked that this motorbike be modified in our style. It’s just that he wanted some parts of the Yamaha RX King to be maintained because he wanted to remember his youth,” said Hendro, owner of Pap N Mam Modified on their official YouTube channel.
The modification workshop located on Jalan Kedungmundu, Semarang, Central Java, in fact, is not playing around modifying a motorbike that is claimed to have the name Yamaha Iron King.
After a long discussion with Ahmad Sahroni, they then started to make modifications. What is certain for the external design, Yamaha Iron King needs to stand out with the theme of Ahmad Sahroni’s favorite action hero, Iron Man.
Yamaha Iron King has changed completely. Although the Yamaha RX King chassis still stands out, there are many changes that make it so different.
For example, a new custom seat made to support the universal Yamaha Iron King appearance. In addition, the steering wheel handlebars are equipped with Daytona handles, along with branded spontaneous gas. While the headlamp is embedded with Daymaker LED which matches the 3in1 LED stop lamp.
Entering the frame area, Pap N Mam Modified deliberately took off the middle battery cover. The goal is to pursue the typical Yamaha RX King chassis which has undergone a repaint to highlight a neat impression.
Meanwhile, the kitchen runway is optimized with a custom billet CNC head, supported by PWK Sudco carburetor, YZ125 coil, Daytona pistons, TK Racing crankshaft, MBR quickshifter to custom muffler grafts to make it perform macho.
“You want this motorbike to be poked hard, poked hard. It’s like a sleeper motorbike,” said Hendra.
So, topping Ahmad Sahroni’s RX King upgrade, the two undercarriages were rejuvenated by the Takasago R17 250/300 rims with the Pirelli Diablo Superbike slick rubber coils. The speed limiter is dirty Brembo custom disc calipers. Furthermore, the shock of the front wheels was enjoyed by the Ninja RR shockbreaker.
Not to forget, the custom swingarm is the suspension binding for the Racingbross Bazooka. The footrest relies on a custom footstep underbone, accompanied by a custom kick starter, as well as collaboration with the TK Racing feat SSS gear chain which is ready to make Ahmad Sahroni even cooler when driving the Yamaha Iron King.
Unfortunately, for all of these modification processes, Pap N Mam Modified did not divulge the numbers at all. What is certain is that the cost of Ahmad Sahroni’s Yamaha Iron King modification is not cheap.
The reason is that the motorbike, which is already expensive, is still being ransacked to look different.
