IMOS+ 2023 Open Tomorrow, These Are the Prediction

The 2023 Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS+) will be held at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, on 25-29 October. So, what new motorbikes will be launched at the national exhibition?

As is known, IMOS+ 2023 will be attended by 50 participants, including 16 motorbike brands. Members of AISI (Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association), such as Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki will enliven the event.

Apart from that, there are a number of electric motorbike manufacturers, namely Charged EV, Savart EV, Gova, Polytron, Ion Mobility, U Winfly, Alva, Dhelvic (EV), Kool EV, and Selis. Then, Royal Enfield and Scomadi will also showcase their products at IMOS+ 2023.

“Through the IMOS 2023 exhibition, AISI wants to show the performance of the two-wheeled automotive industry and its newest products and technology,” said Sigit Kumala, Head of Commercial Affairs at AISI and Head of Organizers of the IMOS+ Exhibition, in South Jakarta some time ago.

However, it is not yet known what motorbikes will be launched at the IMOS+ 2023 event. Several manufacturers have shared teasers on their social media about the new motorbikes that will be launched.

For example, Suzuki, via social media Instagram, the Japanese manufacturer showed a teaser of a new motorbike that will be launched at IMOS+ 2023. Although the name was not mentioned, it is believed to be the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX.

This can be seen from the appearance of the headlights which form a V shape and the rear lights which have a narrow design. If you pay attention, it comes from the automatic scooter segment, and leads to the Burgman Street 125 EX because this motorbike has been launched in Malaysia.

Apart from Suzuki, another AISI member, Honda, is also believed to be releasing its newest model of electric motorbike. The reason is, PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) previously said that they would bring two electric motorbikes this year.

As is known, the manufacturer with the flapping wings logo has launched the Honda EM1 e: at GIIAS 2023. This means that AHM still owes one more electric motorbike which is predicted to launch at IMOS+ 2023.

Meanwhile, there has been no leak from Yamaha regarding whether they will launch a new motorbike. However, it is believed that they will bring back their line of electric motorbikes to introduce to the Indonesian people.

Apart from the three AISI members, it is believed that electric motorbike manufacturers participating in IMOS+ 2023 will introduce their new products. Considering that in the electric motorbike segment they are required to improve technology so that they are not less competitive.
