The Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show 2024 ( PEVS 2024) event which will be held on 30 April-5 May 2024 will be a big momentum for electrification in the country. The electric vehicle exhibition was held much bigger than before.
It could even be said that the availability of space has doubled. This happened because car manufacturers in Indonesia were increasingly serious about bringing green vehicles to the country as well as new breakthroughs by the organizers of PEVS 2024.
General Chairperson of Periklindo Moeldoko said that the PEVS 2024 exhibition would be held on a larger scale based on the enthusiasm of participants and visitors at previous events. This exhibition is also expected to bring Indonesia to shine at home and abroad.
“PEVS 2024 is expected to be the leading innovation and pioneer of electric vehicles in Indonesia. We aim to bring electric vehicle exhibitions both at home and abroad. “Periklindo is dedicated to advancing the electric vehicle industry,” said Moeldoko in a video connection at the PEVS 2024 Launching press conference, in Central Jakarta, Friday (10/11/2023).
The PEVS 2024 exhibition will be held in an area of 38,678 sqm (squaremeter). This is an increase from the previous year which only used an area of 17,227 sqm using almost the entire JIExpo Kemayoran Hall.
The increase in area size is aimed at attracting more participants, where last year there were 60 brands participating in PEVS 2023. This is because there are several new members joining Periklindo, and several electric vehicle brands that will launch.
“All Periklindo members are certain to take part in PEVS 2024, plus there are other brands that will participate. “There are 5 new brands that will be present, we hope there will be more,” said Tenggono Chuandra Poa, Secretary General (Sekjen) of Periklindo.
Periklindo members who will enliven PEVS 2024 include DFSK, MAB, Wuling, Benelli, Keeway and Neta who have just joined. However, it is certain that the electric vehicle supporting industry will also enliven PEVS 2024.
Even though it is held in a wider area, PEVS 2024 ticket prices are sold at IDR 50 thousand, the same as last year, both for weekdays and weekends. For those who want to take part in the opening event, Premium tickets are provided for IDR 100 thousand.
