PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) inaugurated a new dealer in the Cibubur area with a fantastic investment value of IDR 82 billion, Tuesday (3/10/2023). The dealer whose operations are run by PT Sun Star Motor has many different facilities for a car dealer with 3S facilities.
PT Sun Star Motor equips the dealer with a Coffee Shop, Coworking Space and also an exclusive waiting room. These facilities are expected to pamper Mitsubishi customers.
So they don’t feel like they have come to a car repair shop but like they have come to an entertainment venue.
“Our target is to provide maximum service to customers. So the concept is fresher because there is a coffee shop and co-working space,” explained Intan Vidiasari, General Manager of Marketing Communication & PR Division MMKSI.
Irwan Kuncoro, Director of Marketing and Sales Division PT MMKSI said that the new dealer concept will later be used as a benchmark for other dealers.
The reason is that currently customers really want a very comfortable atmosphere when carrying out car maintenance. They want to sit quietly while in the waiting room and also work well with adequate work space available.
“These are new things that are implemented in this new showroom concept. Indeed, this is the dealer that allows us to implement the new showroom concept,” explained Irwan Kuncoro.
To get this new concept, PT Sun Star Motor actually poured out quite a lot of funds. They spent IDR 82 billion.
Moreover, the new PT Sun Star Motor dealer also has Body and Paint facilities. The facility was built to provide repair services for Mitsubishi cars.
“This is the biggest investment for a dealer because it is a complex with body and paint. The total investment is around IDR 72 billion and the renovation is IDR 10 billion. So the total is IDR 82 billion,” explained Rudi Rimawan, GM Operation of PT Sun Star Motor.
In terms of land, the Mitsubishi dealer in Cibubur is very ideal. The dealer owned by PT Sun Star Motor is equipped with a showroom area of 1,130 m2 and a workshop area of 660 m2, with 2 Mitsubishi Quick Pit (MQP) stalls, 9 general stalls and 1 stall for inspections that can support Mitsubishi Motors vehicle maintenance.
Apart from routine repairs or services, the dealer also has a Body & Paint facility with Mitsubishi Motors standard equipment and technology which is also supported by a guarantee of original spare parts and premium paint materials which are ready to provide repairs for minor to moderate damage and also paint the vehicle body.
