PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB) inaugurated the Cabin and Chassis Repair facility at the PT Bumern Redja Abadi dealer, Cikupa, Tangerang, Monday (28/8/2023). In an official statement, KTB said the facility was the first after-sales service in Indonesia under the Fuso standard.
Aji Jaya, Vice President of Sales and Marketing Division of KTB, said that currently the population of trucks in Indonesia is very large. From there the chance of an accident that causes damage to the chassis and truck cabin can easily occur.
“We don’t expect accidents to happen, it’s just that they keep happening. Currently there are general repair shops out there that provide repairs, but we offer maximum service to all standardized Fuso customers,” explained Aji Jaya.
Wirjo Basuki, Body & Paint Department Head of PT Bumen Redja Abadi, said that currently repairs to the cab and chassis of the existing trucks are still using traditional methods. Even though the current chassis has a thickness that is quite vulnerable so it cannot be repaired in a traditional way.
According to him, the tool belongs to the Cabin and Chassis Repair facility at the PT Bumen Redja Abadi dealer. “To repair a bent chassis, special tools are needed. The damage we can fix is medium-level damage. If it is fatal, such as when a truck falls into a ravine, it will be very difficult,” said Wirjo Basuki.
To serve the needs of repair or servicing of the chassis and truck cabin, KTB and PT Bumen Redja Abadi equipped the facility with modern tools and equipment. It is known that the facility consists of two chassis repair stall units, two stall putties, one stall polishing, one stall reassembling, and one stall masking. All of these services make the Cabin and Chassis Repair facility a One Stop Service Solution for maintenance and repair of Mitsubishi Fuso vehicles.
All equipment and tools are claimed to be managed by highly skilled technicians who are ready to serve consumer trucks with the best quality repairs.
“This Cabin and Chasis Repair service is the first in Indonesia to be officially under the auspices of the official Mitsubishi Fuso dealer. This facility is supported by complete and modern equipment and official spare parts from Mitsubishi Fuso.
