For Indonesia, BYD Atto 3 Now Has Black Color

BYD Indonesia presents a new color choice for the BYD Atto 3, namely black. The color, named Cosmos Black, complements the five existing colors, namely Ski White, Boulder Grey, Parkour Red, Surf Blue and Forest Green.

According to Bobby Bharata, Head of Operations at PT BYD Motor Indonesia, this color was presented to meet the tastes and desires of the Indonesian people. He said it cannot be denied that Indonesian people like cars in black, white and silver.

“BYD is known for its varied car colors. For Indonesia we made black because it is really liked by the Indonesian people,” explained Bobby Bharata on the sidelines of the BYD Atto 3 Media Test Drive, Monday (29/1/2024).

It’s just that Bobby Bharata didn’t explain whether the black color would have a different price from other colors. Until now, BYD Indonesia has not announced the prices of the electric cars they market in Indonesia, namely BYD Atto 3, BYD Dolphin and BYD Seal.

Previously, Luther Pandjaita, Head of Marketing Communication at PT BYD Motor Indonesia was still reluctant to provide further information.

He emphasized that BYD itself still wants to see prices that are suitable from the perspective of potential consumers and the public.

“Determining the price is not a matter of time but how confident we are with the response now. “The important thing is that everyone knows the full feature condition of BYD Dolphin, compares it with competitors and what price it matches,” said Luther.

BYD is currently conducting internal research and will soon reveal the prices for the three electric cars to the public.

Currently BYD is still working on car prices for the Indonesian market, but the Dolphin is predicted to be the model with the lowest price targeting first-time EV (Electric Vehicle) buyers.

Luther himself claims to have received a good response from potential consumers regarding the presence of the electric-powered compact hatchback.

“I’ll check later but overall (pre-booking numbers) have reached hundreds. “We are waiting (for exact numbers),” he said.
