As many as 688 units of the Seres E1 electric car were ordered when it was presented for the first time at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2023 (GIIAS) which was held on 10-20 August 2023. In detail, 550 people ordered the highest Seres E1 type, the Seres E1 L Type.
The remaining 138 people prefer to order the Seres E1 B Type, which is much more affordable. It is known that the Seres E1 L Type is sold at Rp. 219 million, while the Seres E1 B Type is priced at Rp. 189 million.
Achmad Rofiqi, Marketing Head of PT Sokonindo Automobile, in an official statement, Wednesday (23/8/2023), said that the Seres E1 is an electric car with a very high value.
This happened because the Seres E1 has an attractive design, sophisticated and modern features, and a compact size according to transportation needs in the capital city.
“The presence of Seres E1 is expected to be a solution for urban mobility and reduce exhaust emissions along the way,” hoped Ahmad Roifiqi.
It is known that the Seres E1 L Type has a 16.8 kWh Lithium Iron Phospate battery combined with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous electric motor with a capacity of 30 kW and 100 Nm of torque. The maximum mileage is 220 kilometers.
This is different from the Seres E1 B Type, which uses a 13.8 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery. Cruising distance reaches 180 kilometers.
The sales of the Seres E1 actually succeeded in overshadowing the sales of electric cars in the same class, the Wuling Air ev. It is known that at the GIIAS 2023 event, a total of 886 units of Wuling Air ev were ordered by customers.
This high sales figure is supported by the presence of a new variant of Wuling Air ev which is much cheaper, namely Wuling Air ev Lite.
The electric car, whose price is sold at IDR 188.9 million, was ordered by 143 people.
