Lamborghini finally released their pure electric car, the Lamborghini Lanzador, at the Monterey Car Week 2023 event, United States of America, Friday (18/8/2023) yesterday. Unfortunately the car has not been sold because it is still in concept form.
The car, called Lamborghini, succeeded in translating the wishes of the car company bearing the Angry Bull logo in welcoming the electrification era. It is known that Lamborghini named their mission in the era of electrification that will occur in the future with the name Direzione Cor Tauri.
In this mission, Lamborghini wants to take an active part in making electric cars without having to sacrifice the characteristics or DNA they already have.
“With Lanzador we are looking to the future without having to forget our DNA. This concept car has the courage of a future technology, an attractive design, to a strong sports feel,” said Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Lamborghini.
According to the Car and Driver website, the electric car made by Lamborghini has indeed managed to maintain Lamborghini’s characteristics. The car does look like a crossover with high ground clearance.
The Lamborghini design, full of sharp lines, dominates every part of the Lamborghini Lanzador body. The most interesting part is precisely the carrying capacity.
Lamborghini Lanzador carries a 2+2 seat configuration. So this car is trying to carry passengers in large numbers.
Almost the same as the Lamborghini Urus. The difference is that Lamborghini claims to be very focused on making passengers in the back sit comfortably. This happened because of the use of an active chassis and air suspension that is adaptive to the road conditions being traversed.
Unfortunately Lamborghini did not release official details regarding the battery and maximum mileage of the electric car. It’s just that they say the power of the Lamborghini Lanzador reaches 1,341 horsepower.
Car and Drive said that the electric car will only be sold to consumers in 2028. It is estimated that the price will reach USD 300,000 or the equivalent of IDR 4.5 billion.
