It’s no longer a secret that Joe Biden really likes automotives. He is even often seen driving his favorite car, the classic Chevrolet Corvette.
Joe Biden is always the most enthusiastic when inaugurating new electric cars made in the United States. However, this is the first time Joe Biden has acknowledged driving a car at high speed.
“I once raced a Porsche at a speed of 275 kilometers per hour,” said Joe Biden, quoted by Autoblog, Friday (22/12/2023).
The president, who was born on November 20 1942, actually admits that he is the number one person in the United States, which makes him have special facilities. He can take advantage of a special circuit belonging to the Secret Service which is used to practice driving skills.
In that place, Joe Biden often satisfies his thirst by driving a car at high speed. He even brought his favorite classic Chevrolet Corvette to that circuit.
“With a Corvette it only goes up to 212 kilometers per hour,” he explained.
What is certain is that Joe Biden is prohibited from driving cars in public places. Presidential regulations in the United States require Joe Biden to only sit in the passenger seat when using the presidential car.
So it’s only natural that Joe Biden ends up spending quite a lot of time on the Secret Service circuit.
