Dare to Fight Tesla, VinFast Brings Cybertruck Killer to America

The progress of VinFast, a car manufacturer from Vietnam, should not be taken lightly. The car company based in Dinh Vu, Vietnam will bring four electric vehicles to the 2024 CES Consumer Electronic Show which will be held on January 9-12 2024.

In an official statement quoted by PR News Wire, Wednesday (27/12/2023), VinFast stated that the presence of the four electric vehicles is their strong proof of green mobility and electric vehicles that are affordable for the public.

“CES is a highly influential electric vehicle technology and industry showcase. Our presence at CES 2024 underscores our unwavering commitment to shaping the future of sustainable transportation, and we are excited to showcase the groundbreaking innovations that will further push us in a better direction,” ” said Tran Mai Hoa, VinFast Global Deputy CEO of Sales and Marketing.

The four electric vehicles that VinFast brought to CES could be said to be very varied. In detail, they will bring two new electric SUVs that fill different segments, namely the newest VinFast VF9 and VinFast VF3.

VinFast VF9 is an electric SUV with very large dimensions. This new edition of this SUV will be equipped with video streaming technology.

At the same place VinFast will also present VinFast VF3. The compact electric SUV will debut in the United States. Interestingly, this compact electric SUV is also said to be marketed in Indonesia.

The third electric vehicle is the VinFast DrgnFly electric motorbike. This electric motorbike has actually been brought to the CES 2023 event. The difference is that at the CES 2024 event, VinFast DrgnFly can be tried directly by visitors.

The fourth most interesting electric vehicle is actually a new electric SUV. In the official photo distributed by VinFast, the car actually appears in silhouette.

Autopro said the car was an electric pickup. This new electric car will be a strong challenger to existing pickup cars, including the Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi Triton, Isuz D-Max, and the most sensational Tesla Cybertruck.

“Actually, VinFast has wanted to make an electric pickup for five years. This type of car needs to be presented because it is very popular not only in the United States but also in Southeast Asia,” explained Autopro.

Unfortunately, VinFast is still very secretive about the existence of the electric pickup. VinFast seems to really want the electric pickup to be a surprise when CES 2024 officially opens.

From the silhouette image provided by VinFast, at least it can be seen that the design of their electric pickup is quite dramatic. So just wait and see whether the electric pickup made by VinFast will be worthy of competing against the Tesla Cybertruck.
