PT Astra Daihatsu Motor decided to carry out a recall on certain All New Ayla 1.0L models. This is a Special Service Campaign (SSC) program to maintain consumer satisfaction and trust.
As is known, recall is a program carried out by a manufacturer if a production error is found in the product they produce. This is to ensure the safety and security of customers when using the product.
In this SSC program, Daihatsu will inspect and readjust the engine ECU on the All New Ayla 1.0L. This is done to ensure that engine performance is maintained properly, for safety and comfort while driving.
At least 3,383 units of the Daihatsu All New Ayla 1.0L variant are affected by this recall campaign. The production year included in this program is February 28, 2023 to May 23, 2023.
Sri Agung Handayani, Marketing Director and Corporate Planning and Communication Director of PT ADM, said this program is a form of Daihatsu’s commitment and responsibility in prioritizing customer safety and comfort.
“We invite customers whose vehicles are on the list for this program to come to the nearest official Daihatsu repair shop. “The work process takes less than 1 hour, and there is no charge whatsoever,” said Sri Agung as quoted in an official statement.
Daihatsu will actively contact customers affected by the recall. Apart from that, customers can also independently confirm whether their Daihatsu car is included in this program by visiting the official page www.ssc.daihatsu.co.id by entering the vehicle chassis number, or contacting Daihatsu Access at 1-500-898.
If affected, customers are advised to book service and come directly to the official Daihatsu workshop at the specified time. There are 170 workshops throughout Indonesia that are ready to accept by booking in advance.
There are no special requirements for customers affected by the recall. You only need to take the vehicle to an official Daihatsu repair shop and book a service. Later, the vehicle owner will immediately have it repaired by a technician.
