Honda has finally started selling the Honda Motocompacto folding electric scooter at a cheaper price than the Honda Beat. Carscoops reported, Thursday (2/11/2023), the Honda Motocompacto is being sold for USD 995 or the equivalent of IDR 15.6 million.
This price is much cheaper than Honda’s best-selling scooter in Indonesia, the Honda Beat. Currently the Honda Beat is being sold for IDR 18.05 million.
Unfortunately, Indonesian people cannot experience the uniqueness of the Honda Motocompacto. The reason is that for the time being it is only in the United States that you can own the Honda Motocompacto.
As an illustration, the Honda Motocompacto is the latest generation of Honda’s small scooter which was introduced in November 1981, the Honda Motocompo.
The difference this time is that the Honda Motocompacto is much more compact and powered by a battery. Honda claims that the electric scooter can be carried on planes because it is easy to fold.
Motocompacto comfort is supported by compact vehicle dimensions with a length of 38.1 inches, a height of 35 inches, a width of 17.2 inches, a seat height of 24.5 inches and a weight of 41.3 pounds. When the vehicle is folded it becomes even smaller. The dimensions have changed to 29.2 inches in length, 21.1 inches in height and the vehicle width has become 3.7 inches.

The Honda Motocompacto is known to be equipped with a digital speedometer, charge meter and a comfortable carrying handle. This electric scooter has a battery capacity of 6.8Ah and has a battery charging time of 3.5 hours with 110v power.
This scooter has a maximum speed of 24 km per hour with a maximum distance capacity of 19 km. Therefore, the Honda Motocompacto is very suitable for getting around the city and around campus areas.
