Can-Am Pulse and Origin 2025 Debut in Indonesia, Offering Electric Off-Road Thrills

Can-Am has officially entered the Indonesian market with the launch of its two latest electric motorcycles: the 2025 Can-Am Pulse and 2025 Can-Am Origin. These models are designed to meet the growing demand for powerful yet eco-friendly mobility. Pre-orders for both bikes are now open, marking Can-Am’s first bold step into the local electric motorcycle segment.

Can-Am’s arrival in Indonesia is spearheaded by Sea-Doo Can-Am Indonesia, the brand’s official distributor. According to Managing Director Ade Christian, the Pulse and Origin are more than just motorcycles, they represent a new, dynamic, and sustainable lifestyle. “We want to deliver an exciting and premium electric riding experience, whether on city streets or off-road trails,” he said.

A legendary brand under BRP Inc. with more than 80 years of innovation in powersports, Can-Am is reviving its trail bike legacy with a modern twist, combining cutting-edge technology, electric power, and digital connectivity. The Pulse and Origin feature the proprietary Rotax E-Power electric motor, engineered for both high performance and rider comfort.

These bikes deliver up to 72 Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm and use an automatic transmission system that’s beginner-friendly yet satisfying for seasoned riders. An advanced liquid cooling system keeps the battery, motor, inverter, and charger running optimally in all conditions.

Charging is simple and efficient—just 50 minutes to go from 20% to 80% using a home wallbox or public charger. The Can-Am Pulse offers a range of up to 160 km, while the Origin can reach 145 km in urban settings. Both are powered by an 8.9 kWh battery tested under extreme weather conditions.

The 2025 Can-Am Pulse is built for urban agility. It weighs 177 kg, with a seat height of 784 mm and ground clearance of 146 mm. It comes with 17-inch wheels, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, and BRP GO! connectivity. Riders can choose from four riding modes—Normal, Sport+, ECO, and Rain, to suit different road conditions.

On the other hand, the 2025 Can-Am Origin is aimed at off-road enthusiasts. It features dual-sport Dunlop D605 tires and KYB suspension, making it capable of tackling a wide variety of terrains. It offers six riding modes: Normal, Sport, ECO, Rain, Off-Road, and Off-Road+. Its design channels Can-Am’s motocross racing DNA, blending on-road stability with off-road agility.

To ensure a smooth ownership experience, Sea-Doo Can-Am Indonesia is also rolling out robust after-sales support, including official dealerships in major cities, certified technicians, and ready-to-ship genuine parts, all in place from day one.

“With the Can-Am Pulse and Origin, we aim to usher Indonesians into a new era of mobility. This isn’t just about electric motorcycles, it’s about how Can-Am creates fun, modern, and environmentally conscious riding experiences,” Ade Christian concluded.
