Bugatti has an interesting solution for their customers who are worried about the imminent halt in the sale of conventional cars. They are prepared to build home gas stations specifically for their special customers.
This policy is similar to the steps taken by electric car manufacturers. Currently, many electric car manufacturers install special devices for recharging their customers’ electric car batteries as a special facility.
Bugatti intends to adopt this facility if the presence of conventional cars starts to be limited and fuel sales are restricted.
“Fuel stations will soon be limited to make way for electric cars. We will create home gas stations for our customers. We have prepared the design,” said Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti-Rimac, at the FT Future of the Car Conference in London, UK, as quoted by Autopro on Sunday (26/5/2024).
He stated that Bugatti will do everything possible to ensure conventional cars do not go extinct. He even mentioned that the notion of electric cars being the sole solution to reducing emissions is misguided.
According to him, electric cars are not the only option, especially for super-luxury car customers like Bugatti’s, who require a very personal and exclusive experience.
“Bugatti will not give up on the supercar segment with internal combustion engines. We are ready to be fined if necessary,” explained Mate Rimac.
