PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia released two new cars in the entry level class which are even more special thanks to the AMG touch. The two cars are the Mercedes-AMG A 35 4Matic and the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4Matic.
Both cars appear with different body styling. The Mercedes-AMG A 35 4Matic comes with the appearance of a luxury sedan. The Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4Matic, on the other hand, comes with a strong hot hatch feel.
“Through these two new models, we are offering a starting point for customers and potential customers to experience the full driving experience typical of Mercedes-AMG,” said Choi Duk Jun, President Director of PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia.
Even though both are early or entry-level models, the prices of the two cars shouldn’t be underestimated. Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC Sedan is sold at IDR 1.18 billion. On the other hand, the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC is sold at IDR 1.51 billion.
The ransom price, which reaches billions of rupiah, is actually commensurate with the performance and design offered by the two cars. Mercedes-AMG managed to dress the two cars with a taste of luxury and strong performance.
Speaking of performance, the Mercedes-AMG A 35 4Matic is equipped with the Mercedes-AMG M260 2.0-liter 4-cylinder 8 transmission engine. This machine can produce 306 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The technical specifications of the kitchen runway make the sedan able to go from 0-100 km/h in a matter of 4.8 seconds.
The Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC is even more powerful. The hatchback is equipped with the eMrcedes-AMG M139q 2.0-liter 4-cylinder 8-transmission engine. This machine is capable of pouring out power of 421 horsepower and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. From rest to 100 kilometers per hour, this car can do it in 3.9 seconds.
“We see high interest from customers in Indonesia for the Mercedes-AMG line, and this time we are launching two entry level models aimed at those who want to experience the sensation of driving with high performance,” concluded Hari Arifianto, Deputy Director Sales Operation Product Management at PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia.
