Alva Considers Affordable Electric Motorbikes

Alva considers affordable electric motorbikes even though they are currently known as a premium electric motorbike manufacturer. Purbaja Pantja, President Director of PT Ilectra Motor Group, a manufacturer of Alva motorbikes, told the media, Tuesday (1/8/2023), said that the product research and development process always progresses over time.

According to him, Alva is trying to fulfill consumer desires for high-quality electric motorbikes. “Both those motorbikes whose prices are up and those that are really aimed down at a price of Rp. 20 million are believed to have big enthusiasts,” said Purbaja Pantja.

He said that currently Alva only has two electric motorbikes, namely Alva One and Alva Cervo. The two electric motorbikes are indeed dedicated to meeting the needs of green transportation and lifestyle.

Currently Alva One is priced at IDR 36.49 million and Alva Cervo at IDR 37.75 million. This price is relatively large compared to other electric motorbikes which are in the price range of IDR 20 million.

“Currently we have facilities that are spread across several areas. So it would really be useless if we only had two electric motorbikes. So we will consider everything according to needs,” explained Purbaja Pantja.

Meanwhile, Putu Swaditya Yudha, Chief Marketing Officer of PT Ilectra Motor Group, said that currently they themselves provide many conveniences for the public to be able to own Alva electric motorbikes. One of the things they offer is a trade-in program or swapping old motorbikes with Alva electric motorbikes.

They have carried out this interesting program at the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2023 (JFK) event which took place in June 2023. At that time, people only had to bring their motorbikes to be replaced with electric motorbikes made by Alva.

“This program received a very positive response from the community and we plan to continue it in other events,” explained Putu Swaditya Yudha.

In addition, he said that currently two Alva electric motorbikes have met the requirements for subsidies. This is because Alva One and Alva Cervo have met the minimum TKDN requirement of 40 percent.

“ALVA One and ALVA Cervo TKDN are above 40 percent, so they are eligible to take part in the government assistance program. For this reason, we participate by registering our two products into this program. However, prospective buyers must pass the verification process for beneficiaries. The verification process is carried out at in the government system, namely SISAPIRA,” he concluded.
