PT Sokonindo Automobile has an interesting solution for owners of their flagship SERES E1 electric car. Now every consumer who buys an electric car assembled in Cikande, Tangerang immediately gets a bonus wall charger.
Providing a wall charger is indeed an effective solution for SERES E1 owners to charge electric car batteries. This is because the charging time for an electric car battery will be much faster if you use a wall charger.
“We provide a wall charger to consumers who purchase Seres E1. “The presence of this wall charger can be used to properly charge the vehicle battery so that the Seres E1 is ready for daily use,” said Marketing Head of PT Sokonindo Automobile Achmad Rofiqi.
For clarity, the wall charger provided has a power of 7 kW with a value equivalent to IDR 15 million. The charger is claimed to be very suitable for the Seres E1 because the way to use it is just plug-n-play for the SERES E1 B-Type which has a 13.8 kWh battery and the SERES E1 L-Type with a 16.8 kWh battery.
According to PT Sokonindo Automobile, the practicality of charging using a wall charger can be seen from the battery charging time. For the SERES E1 B-Type, consumers can charge the battery using a Type 2 AC socket in just 3.5 hours. Apart from that, for the Seres E1 L-type battery condition from 10-90% using a Type 2 AC socket it only takes 4 hours.
Of course this time is much faster. Usually other small electric cars take a very long time, around eight hours if you charge the battery using an electric socket at home.
It is currently known that the SERES E1 is available in two variants, namely B-Type and L-Type. The SERES E1 B-Type is sold for IDR 189 million and the SERES E1 L-Type is priced at IDR 219 million.
