Chinese car, NETA, made a surprise by presenting the new NETA electric sports car. In total there are four NETA GT variants, namely NETA GT 560 Lite, NETA GT 560, NETA GT 660, and NETA GT 580 AWD.
Interestingly, the acceleration of the electric sports car made by NETA is almost equivalent to the acceleration of the Ferrari 458 Italia. In an official statement received by MNC Portal Indonesia, Tuesday (3/10/2023), NETA said that the NETA GT 580 AWD electric sports car can run from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.7 seconds.
This acceleration is almost equivalent to the acceleration of a Ferrari 458 Italia. In tests carried out by the YouTube channel Reporter Marco, the Ferrari 458 Italia could run from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.3 seconds.
Jason Ding, Deputy Managing Director of PT NETA Auto Indonesia, said that the NETA GT was created to provide an extraordinary driving experience. The electric sports car was created by combining advanced electric power technology, superior performance and acceleration.
Interestingly, he said that the NETA GT is actually proof that the Chinese car company has not forgotten the sports car segment despite the fact that currently electric cars are very popular among the public.
“NETA GT is not just an electric sports car, but an innovation and work of art in the automotive world in welcoming a new era of environmentally friendly, efficient and high-tech mobility. We hope that NETA GT can also enter the Indonesian automotive market, and fulfill the needs of sports car fans here,” said Jason Ding.
In NETA’s official statement, it is stated that the NETA GT has two types of drive modes that can be selected according to consumer preferences and driving experience, namely Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and All Wheel Drive (AWD).
The NETA GT 580 AWD is the variant that offers the highest performance in its class, apart from having an All Wheel Drive (AWD) system, this car also has two electric motors which provide 340 kW of power with a maximum torque of 620 Nm.
This extraordinary performance is supported by maximum battery capacity because the NETA GT 580 AWD has a battery capacity of 78 kWh which can cover a distance of up to 580 km on one full charge.
NETA GT not only offers fierce driving performance and stunning looks, but is also equipped with advanced and smart technology. NETA Space Intelligent Cockpit is the center for controlling all the features in this sports car. Embedded by a 17.6 inch Central Control Screen with voice control, Real-time Navigation System, Smart Car Search, NETA Speaker, and Pedestrian Warning Sound at Low-speed, makes the NETA GT provide a futuristic and more comfortable driving experience.
In terms of design, the NETA GT exudes an unmatched sporty feel. With dimensions of 4,715 mm x 1,979 mm x 1,415 mm, this car combines elegant, dashing and impressive design elements in all variants presented. To meet the diverse tastes of users, NETA GT offers a variety of color choices that reflect the persona & personality of each driver.
Unfortunately, NETA has not officially released the price of the electric sports car. Of course, if it were present in Indonesia, the affordable price would be very attractive considering the price of sports cars is very expensive.
