The famous technology company, Oracle, is ready to make the Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup into a police car. Quoted by Paultan, Wednesday (27/9/2023), this was revealed when Larry Ellison, CTO of Oracle, held a presentation on the latest technology entitled “Oracle CloudWorld”.
In that presentation, Larry Ellison said that Oracle was the company appointed by the American police to make a police car based on the Ford Explorer. According to him, at that time they were asked to cram various advanced technologies into the Ford Explorer police car.
“At that time we installed a smart screen like the Tesla Screen that exists today. The screen is very smart because it can navigate case events and also voice commands,” said Larry Ellison.
From there, the man who was born on August 17 1944 revealed that they would present a future police car using the Tesla Cybertruck.
“Actually, this is my favorite car. Favorite police car. This car is very tough because it is made of stainless steel,” said Larry Ellison.
He said there would be many differences in making the Tesla Cybertruck and Ford Explorer into police cars. In the past, when modifying a Ford Explorer they needed to make a special screen that was installed on the car.
“Now it’s different because the Tesla Cybertruck already has a sophisticated screen. We just need to add the technology,” he explained.
Unfortunately, Larry Ellison did not provide a definite schedule for when the Tesla Cybertruck police car would actually be produced. What is certain is that Paultan said that this plan really depends on Tesla’s readiness to mass-produce the electric pickup.
The reason is that it is no longer a secret that Tesla is having difficulty producing the Tesla Cybertruck in large capacities. Since it was first introduced in 2019, Tesla has not yet sold the Tesla Cybertruck.
