PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia finally unveiled their new flagship SUV, Monday (31/7/2023). As promised, the name and price of the car, which has not yet been released, has an appearance that is almost identical to the Mitsubishi XFC Concept car, which was released in February 2023.
This similarity is in accordance with the wishes of the management of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI). Long ago they guaranteed the design of the new SUV from Mitsubishi to have a 90 percent resemblance to the Mitsubishi XFC Concept.
The most very similar part is on the front or front view of the new SUV. The futuristic lights on the Mitsubishi XFC Concept have not been replaced at all.
Likewise with the overall silhouette of Mitsubishi’s new SUV. Really similar to the silhouette of the Mitsubishi XFC Concept.
Unfortunately, in this event, Mitsubishi has not released the price of Mitsubishi’s new SUV at all. They also have not opened the inside or the interior of the car.
It’s just that the interior is still not opened by Mitsubishi. It is planned that the price and interior of the new Mitsubishi SUV will be opened at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) which opens on August 10, 2023 next week.
President Director of PT MMKSI Atsushi Kurita said the presence of the car was actually obtained from the desires of consumers. Including maintaining the design of the Mitsubishi XFC Concept in Mitsubishi’s new SUV.
“Instead of following trends, we are exerting efforts to listen to consumers in developing a real game changer in the market, as was the case with the Mitsubishi Xpander 2017,” said Atsushi Kurita.
He said that like the Mitsubishi Xpander, their new SUV could be a game changer in the compact SUV segment. He believes the many features, technology, and comfort that Mitsubishi’s new SUV has will be a breakthrough.
“For names and prices, we ask everyone to be patient,” concluded Atsushi Kurita.
