PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia presents a new variant of the Hyundai Stargazer called Essential. At the same time, the Hyundai Stargazer also received revisions to the interior.
Please do not misunderstood first. The new variant, called Essential, does not add to the existing Hyundai Stargazer variant.
The Hyundai Stargazer Essential replaces the Trend variant as part of the Stargazer family. The replacement was also not just a name change.
The Hyundai Stargazer Essential has also added several new elements to attract consumers’ attention.
Simultaneously with the presence of the new variant, Hyundai also made several revisions to the interior. This change made them confident with the New Stargazer label.
“We listened to suggestions from consumers, and therefore launched the New Stargazer with the new Essential variant. We have made several updates based on this input,” said President Director of PT HMID, Woojune Cha, on the sidelines of the launch of the New Stargazer, in South Jakarta, Monday (17/7/2023).
Since its launch at the GIIAS 2022 event, HMID has continued to receive input from consumers regarding the Hyundai Stargazer. Based on this input, HMID finally decided to update and present the New Stargazer.
In the New Stargazer, the biggest difference is felt in the interior, especially in the instrument panel housing and head unit. This component is made more sloping to provide better visibility for motorists.
The instrument panel is also fully digital and equipped with MID, which is different from the Trend variant which is still analog. This makes the appearance more elegant and sporty, and makes it easier for the driver to get information about the car.
Specifically for the Stargazer Essential, this variant is equipped with an LED headlamp equipped with DRL. In addition, this latest model is also equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels which makes it even more elegant.
On the front view, the Stargazer Essential grille uses glossy black accents, not the same body color as the Trend variant. The difference also lies in the door handles which already use chrome accents, not the same color as the car.
The Essential variant also uses the Start Stop Engine button, 6 Airbags, Drive Mode (Smart, Eco, Sport, Comfort), VSA, HSA, ABS safety features, and the TPMS feature to check tire pressure.
Regarding the kitchen runway, the New Stargazer still uses the same engine, namely the 1.5-liter Smartstream which can produce 115 PS of power at 6,300 rpm and a peak torque of 143.8 Nm at 4,500 rpm. There is a choice of 6-speed manual transmission and IVT automatic transmission.
Regarding the price, the Hyundai New Stargazer starts at IDR 219,948,100 for the Active type, up to IDR 281,880,240 for the Prime type with IVT automatic transmission. All prices are off the road status.
