Wuling Air ev, Wuling Motors’ flagship electric car in Indonesia, will reach 10,000 units within one year. This was revealed in a special celebration held by Wuling Motors entitled Green Drive Festival on 15 July 2023.
Dian Asmahani, Brand and Marketing Director of Wuling Motors said that the Green Drive Festival event was made to appreciate the owners of Wuling Air ev in Indonesia. It was recorded that more than 100 Wuling Air ev units participated in the event.

Upon arriving at this gathering point, participants were directed to park in the “10 K” formation which was enshrined as a sign of celebration towards 10,000 Airev consumers in Indonesia.
“We hope that more and more people will be inspired to take part in supporting environmentally friendly mobility for cleaner air in the future,” said Dian Asmahani.
It is known that Wuling Air ev was first launched in August 2022. At that time, Wuling Air ev was available at an affordable price and in two variants, Wuling Air ev Standard Range and Wuling Air ev Long Range.
The Wuling Air ev Standard Range is currently sold at IDR 243 million and the Wuling Air ev Long Range is priced at IDR 299.5 million. This price is much cheaper than other electric cars, which are sold on average at IDR 500 million and above.
Apart from that, Wuling Air ev is also produced in Indonesia at the Wuling factory in Cikarang, West Java. In 2022 sales, the Wuling Air ev actually became the second best-selling car out of all the cars made by Wuling.
It is known that throughout 2022, a total of Wuling Indonesia managed to sell 30,037 units. Of the total, Wuling Air ev immediately became the second most sold car with 8,053 units. However, sales have not yet surpassed Wuling Confero, which has sold 10,844 units.
