The 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) will be held on August 10-20. There are 49 vehicle brands that will enliven the biggest automotive exhibition in Indonesia, with two cars scheduled for World Premiere.
Celebrating the 30th Gaikindo exhibition, this time GIIAS will present something different. General Chairperson of Gaikindo Yohannes Nangoi revealed that the GIIAS 2023 exhibition would be a special milestone for Gaikindo.
“This year, GIIAS is present as the 30th Gaikindo exhibition. This exhibition will present the largest number of vehicle brands in the last eight years. This is something that Gaikindo is very proud of,” said Nangoi in a press conference in South Jakarta, Thursday (13/7/2023).
GIIAS 2023 will present a total of 49 brands of motorized vehicles, including 29 brands of passenger vehicles. Nangoi also explained that the entry of new vehicle brands into the country proved the great potential of the Indonesian automotive market.
“With more participants attending GIIAS 2023, it means that more breakthroughs and automotive industry technologies will be presented to the Indonesian people,” he said.
At the GIIAS 2023 event, there are at least two brands that will launch the World Premiere. This is intended to increase the automotive industry in Indonesia so that it will be more attractive to the world.
“There is a World Premiere, in the world it was first introduced. If I’m not mistaken, there are two of these cars in GIIAS, and of course many new products will be launched,” said Nangoi.
Rizwan Alamsjah, Chairman III as well as Chairman of the Organizers of the Gaikindo Exhibition, will become a reference for automotive technology for the Indonesian public and automotive enthusiasts. For that, there are various new technologies that will be introduced.
“GIIAS has never been absent from being an event for the introduction of the automotive industry, this year too dozens of innovations, the latest vehicle technology including electric-based vehicles, to world premiere vehicles will be launched at GIIAS 2023,” said Rizwan.
Four-wheeled vehicles that will appear at GIIAS 2023 are Audi, BMW, Chery, Citroen, Daihatsu, DFSK, GWM Tank, Haval, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, Lexus, Maxus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, MINI, Mitsubishi Motors , Neta, Nissan, Ora, Porsche, Seres, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo and Wuling.
There are also 5 brands of commercial vehicles such as Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso, Toyota Commercial, UD Trucks. As well as 15 brands of two-wheeled vehicles; Alva, Aprilia, Astra Honda Motor, Benelli, Exotic, Harley-Davidson, Lon Mobility, Keeway, Motoguzzi, Pacific, Piaggio, Polytron, Royal Enfield, Segway and Vespa.
In addition, 3 Karoseri brands are also present at GlIAS 2023, namely Adiputro, Laksana and Tentrem. More than 100 participating brands from supporting industries will also show off in holding GIIAS 2023.
GIIAS 2023 visitors can easily get entry tickets, even on the special VIP day which will run on the first day of the exhibition opening. There are also several GIIAS 2023 entrance ticket discounts.
