Global Debut in Indonesia, Mitsubishi’s New SUV Has Many Trials in Indonesia

Mitsubishi’s new SUV is planned to make a global debut in Indonesia in August 2023. So the car has been tested a lot in Indonesia.

Including when conducting trials in the Trans Java toll road area recently. The trial process was discovered after a short video circulated showing Mitsubishi’s new SUV being tested in several regions in the country.

In this test, Mitsubishi’s new SUV still appears in camouflage. It’s just that there are some interesting details obtained based on the trial video that has been circulating lately.

Intan Vidiasari, General Manager of Marketing Communication & PR Division of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) said that preparations for the launch of Mitsubishi’s new SUV are continuing until now. Including the trial shown in the video.

He said the car’s World Premiere status made Mitsubishi feel the need to continue conducting trials in Indonesia. “This car has World Premiere status in Indonesia and will also be presented to the Indonesian people. So there are indeed many trials carried out in Indonesia compared to other countries,” said Intan Vidiasari.

It is known that Mitsubishi’s new SUV is planned to become a global product. The car is also planned to be sold in Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand and several other countries.

It’s just that Mitsubishi chose Indonesia to carry out the launch and initial sales in August 2023.

“So just wait and see what the car looks like,” said Intan Vidiasari.

It is known that Mitsubishi’s new SUV will later be a form of mass production of the Mitsubishi XFC concept car which launched for the first time at the Indonesia International Motor Show 2022 (IIMS). At that time, the Mitsubishi XFC Concept was believed to be a car that really suited the Indonesian people.

One of them is that the car has a driving mode that can be adjusted to road conditions. The driving mode that is very suitable for Indonesian conditions is Wet Mode.

Thanks to this mode, it is believed that the Mitsubishi XFC Concept will have no difficulties with Indonesian road conditions which are often flooded or floods that often come suddenly.
